THE STORY

Why I Built RacketLab

RacketLab started with a simple problem I experienced myself.

When I wanted to buy a new badminton racket, I searched everywhere — YouTube, Reddit, review websites, and forums. I watched countless reviews and compared specifications, but I still couldn't find a place where I could clearly see how different rackets actually compare to each other.

I eventually bought a new racket, but I realized that I still didn't have a simple way to see all of its important characteristics in one place or determine how well it matched my playing style.

“Why isn't there a website that organizes all of this information in one place?”

So I decided to build one myself.

RacketLab is my attempt to make choosing a badminton racket simpler, more transparent, and more personalized.

Instead of telling you which racket is the “best,” RacketLab focuses on showing you what each racket is designed to do and how its characteristics compare to others.

Spend less time searching. Understand your options faster. Find the racket that fits you.

Built by a Badminton Lover.

I’m a badminton player who genuinely loves the sport. I enjoy not only playing badminton, but also learning about rackets, strings, technology, and how small equipment differences can change the way a racket feels on court.

RacketLab is a project I created from that passion. I wanted to build something that I would have wanted to use myself when choosing a new racket.

I’m continuously working on improving RacketLab and adding more rackets, characteristics, and useful tools for badminton players.

RacketLab is built around real experience. To provide more accurate and useful racket reviews, I want to test and play with as many different rackets as possible.

However, testing a large number of rackets can be difficult because purchasing every racket myself can be expensive.

I’m open to sponsorships, product collaborations, and opportunities to test badminton equipment with brands, retailers, clubs, and other supporters who are interested in helping RacketLab grow.

With access to more rackets, I can test them firsthand, compare their characteristics, and continue building a more detailed and useful database for badminton players.
